Visually expansive.

Gameplay sucks though. This is a type of game that literally just builds up into impossible. The only way to divert from the circles/squares is by movement meaning that when the game becomes impossible with more crowded levels.

There were no power ups, no extra lives, nothing to help make this game more tactical. Just a simple drag and kill game. Which made it boring.

The visuals were nice, though. Fluent and visually captivating despite it being simple shapes. The sounds were irritating at points but a clear indication of loss of health, so good work on that.

thx for the critic point of view i will improve it soon.

It was ok.

This game was definitely strong in some aspects and weaker in other.

First off, the strong points. I have to admit, I absolutely LOVED the sound track. It held such a level of elegance and calm that it really improved the game. I don't usually scape music to do that but in this case it did.

It really worked with the visuals of the game, which were a calm and fluent oasis of simplistic colours. Nothing too advance, nothing too flashy and because of that the game really worked.

The downside is the obvious repetitiveness value of the game. It gave me the instinctive to give up earlier as the challenge never grew for me.

Good work though.

Thanks for review! If there are any suggestions on how to improve the game for a sequel, I'd be more than happy to hear from you.

BOYFRIENDS <3

Well, atleast the drawings were nice.

A note though, whenever I change jacket selection it changes the pants automatically. Small glitch.

heglys responds:

Thank you. A Deviantart user report me that bug and I fixed it today. =)

A little better.

But you're not showing how to position hands properly. From what I've gathered I'm suppose to stab at my piano?

Anyway, the song choice was fine. You're catering for amateurs here so we're not going to be whipping out Einaudi anytime soon. Just try and make it a little more interactive.

up-a-notch responds:

well you are sapost to put you fingers like Mr.burns while playing. And I will

Another song?

The sample song was even off a bit. Overall the game is in need of some work.

I seriously suggest a more interactive approach. Whether it be allowing users to play the piano themselves or incorporating a keyboard/piano interface.

Anyway. Keep it up.

up-a-notch responds:

I know

Try a better view.

The piano itself was very dull. You need to create a better view of it to allow the user to see the board itself. Try birds eye.

Other than that this tutorial was very vague. Instead of numbering the keys with numbers, list them with letters, the A-G scale used on a piano.

up-a-notch responds:

the keys = fingers

Alright...

Here's a tip, coming from a piano player. Interaction helps.

Try incorporate an inbuilt piano system that lets the user play the songs, sure it won't be anything like the piano itself but with easy songs like this it isn't so much about finger coordination as much as it's about remembering the small notes.

Good work though.

up-a-notch responds:

thank you and in the next one I will do that

Righteo.

All right, all right. It's better than the average dress up game as you've managed to put in a scoring system and coordinate between the clothing, that's nice.

But the only reason dress-up games do so well on this site is for the 10 seconds of fun the average 13 year old gets by UNDRESSING the girls.

MrAbbot responds:

;P Maybe there will be some things like that in the future :)

Amazing.

I loved this. Doesn't matter how many times Newgrounds creates something like this I'm always blown away.

I would of liked to of seen the artist name with the pictures.

Also when you scroll backwards it shows images coming and going in the wrong direction.

Amazing work guys.

JKAmovies responds:

yeah, the prev button problem is not a glitch, just something that I couldn't make any better =/

This was nice.

Sure it's a very generic game to see on Newgrounds but you made it with some nice touches.

First off, I enjoyed the retro feel to this. Your backgrounds were great and the difficulty of the whole game was perfectly balanced. Your soundtrack was also brilliant, unlike most games you didn't just stick to the same boring song which gave a sense of progression.

You do somehow need to take this style and make it your own, it's been done so many times on Newgrounds that most games like these are mere replica's and have that same replay feeling behind them.

Besides that, great game.

DrRobot responds:

Thanks for the response. Good review.
