Good stuff

Another fast paced, enviorment filled and great looking animation. You really have a talent for showing people what they want.

Great job!

Try harder

I was getting quite into it when I saw your characters first off, they were drawn quite well at times. But what really upset me was the way you tried to avoid altering them.

It was easy to tell you tried to avoid all frame by frame work here. Your characters are normally just shown still, not moving and then at any point if there is frame by frame work then its very basic.

If you can find the effort to use all the nice visuals of these characters throughout the animation, you'd be looking at a score much higher than this.

Best of luck.

I immediatly regreted making my characters so detailed, It is so hard to animate them afterwards. I'm still a beginner and was'nt ready to animate such intricate characters. My next flash well take the drawing down a notch, and bring up the animation. Thanks for the criticism.

Far to short

The main problem I saw with this, was that it tried to explain a new plot, new characters and a new setting with just a few words, in under 15 seconds. Then expected us to understand what it meant.

It was then followed by random violence, the most simplistic pull-off on Newgrounds. It would of been alot better if you threw away the 15 second attempt of a plot and just added some more killing, or god forbit, put more effort into your animation.

The way it cut straight into the fight scene, as if it almost expected us to understand what was going on was somewhat weird. It was basically taking the random stick killer, giving it a quick outline and throwing in a plot which took 30 seconds or less to invent.

Along with the thrown in storyline, the visuals were par at best. I saw alot of motion tweening, hardly any frame by frame and you severly missed out on the fine detail (he pulled the shotgun chamber, only his arm moved?). The animation was smooth, but when there is no visual or perceptive backup from the drawings or style of animation, well it doesn't work in the first place.

The characters were copy paste material, no uniqueness in any of them. No symbolic meaning, which once again made the plot look like a last minute attempt.

The backgrounds, paid off. Some decent shading effects and nice foreground to look at, probably your best peice.

The music, was very nice. Though, if you add any fast music to a kill em all it tends to go well, so no points there. The sound effects were in reptition and no special loop, dubs or editing to initiate the spacial differences between them.

Overall, it looked like the cross between Xiao Xiao and Madness... but without the talent. To much tweening, it all looked the same and once again, the plot looked like it was invented after the flash was made... not a good point.

I think if you honestly put some effort into your work, you could pull off something alot more enjoyable than this.

Dude Dude .... Realy i dident do anything with theewing ! Evrything is FBF Realy only the fade in and outs are tweened

The best

A lengthy episode filled with wit, realism and sarcasm to boot. I love your style of humor, its almost as if it were set for us.

The 4 episodes ive seen were all well animated, fluent and lengthy... along with some great laughs, and some "wtf" situations... it made this series golden.

Amazing work.

Thanks a lot man. I'm glad people are still watching these so long after they were released. Expect the fifth episode during the summer....sorry it takes so long. Spread the word! again thanks a lot, i' glad you liked them so much.

Seemed pointless

Sure it was pointless, but it was funny at the same time... don't worry that's a good thing. The humor was great, right from the get-go you had me laughing.

The visuals were nice, the animation was fluent... overall this made a great flash cartoon. Kudo's on the voice acting too.

Good job!

TheCriminalDuder responds:

Thanks man. As the slogan says. We love kick'n ass and makin' laughs. Though we aren't kicking much of anything lately...

The concept is good

But alot of it wasn't in depth enough. I mean sure, it is hard to win a daily feature... but theres something else to it than just creating a great flash.

The backgrounds and musics you had were great, I enjoyed clicking on each award type and hearing the music repeat... it was all well constructed. The only thing that lacked was the depth into the information on the awards.

Frenzy responds:

thanks!

Very Elongated

Ok, the animation was quite well made. The visuals were nice, and you guys used alot of great camera angles... I looked at some scene's and was happy with your variety of angles.

But as the title mentions it streched, a bit to much. Either the animation was very exciting or very boring, you need to find a way to even it out.

There were alot of great scenes, animation techniques and visuals... but some parts were just plain boring.

Still overall, a well made collab.

Great job!

IZSBHR responds:

Ooooooh... thanks.

"I fucking hate you forever"

Creative line that. Once again, funny shit. You take the most random of things and make it humerous... thats a compliment.

Looking forward to seeing future works.

Watch out for weekly short flash #4, which continues Graham's story. :)

10 for style

This is actually quite a good idea. Watching people contest for money, risking their lives... You could really make something good out of this.

The music was also very well chosen, alot of firm solid tracks that suited this style of animation.

The only problem would be the animation, it was far to simplistic, the visuals were decent. But I think, with this idea... and some time you could really make something great.

Best of luck with future works.

Cute

First off, I really like how you placed the Korean attitude into this, allowing to see the Korean text first, showing the government power and keeping the song in... it all built a background for me.

The flash on the whole was nice. Though the style has been done before, with the whole Korean scape added into it as mentioned above, well it sort of made it your own.

The graphics were basic, simple block designs... the only thing I can really think that needed work on. Your backgrounds/figures were nice though, I especially remember seeing the statues and noting the detail in them... quite well.

The animation was fluent, which was weird when it went with the somewhat blocky figures. Smooth, and realistic, some nice frame by frame and tweens added in.

Overall, great valentines flash!

Thanks for the review!
